General Information About Our Customer Service Policies
How often does our company come out?
Most of our customers prefer service once a week. Other service schedules are available; if you would like to know more about service options, please call us.
Do we work through winter?
Yes. Dogs keep making their doodles all year long, and our company continues to clean up and remove dog doodles through winter. Some customers prefer to put service on hold for the cold months, although there may be an extra service charge for the first cleanup the following spring.
What happens when it snows or rains?
We'll work in most weather, but snow or very cold weather can stop us. If there is more than 2 inches of snowfall we may postpone that day's service until the next day or two. If there is so much snow that we are prevented from doing that week's work, then we will not charge for service that week. If snow stays on the ground for more than one week, but there is no new heavy snowfall we will do our regular cleanups to prevent excessive doodle accumulation.
Our company will work in rain. A very heavy rainfall may stop us, though. We will most often be able to make up the work later in the same week.
What about Holidays?
We do not work on the following Holidays:
- New Years Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Our company takes two weeks of vacation a year.
Should I unlock my gate?
Yes. Since employees are not to climb or jump over fences, please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You may provide us with a key to the lock or tell us the combination if that will be more convenient for you.
Can we work with your dog in the yard?
In most cases yes. We get along well with dogs: however, there are some cases when a dog will not let our worker in the yard. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean your yard, then we ask that you restrain your dog or keep your dog inside.
We don't want to take unnecessary risks with your dog or our employees.
What if I want to skip a service day?
You will not be charged if you call the company office in time for us to tell the service worker to skip your yard that day. If your dog will be gone from your yard for a couple of weeks, or if there is some other reason you want us to skip your yard for a day or more, we can hold service and you will not be charged for those days.
How do I pay?
We will send you an invoice in the mail at the 1st of the month. Online payment is available. We accept cash, checks, money orders and credit cards. If you prefer another payment method, contact us.
There is a 10.00 late fee for payments received after the 15th of the month.
Are there contracts to sign?
No. We can start and stop your service over the phone or by email. We do not require contracts and there is no minimum service period.
Is it possible for one-time only service?
You bet! This is a great service for those special outdoor events to make sure there are no added surprises for your guests.
What does your company mean by "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED"?
We promise you will get service you are happy with or you don't pay for it! We know our business depends on doing excellent work, and it's the quality of our service on which we stake our success. We're working very hard to make our name mean reliable, high-quality, personal service.
We strive to provide perfect service, but if there is ever a time when our service is not completely satisfactory, please let us know right away. We will make it right, either by coming back to re-clean the yard the same day or the next day, or by crediting your account so you will not be charged.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes! Our success depends on your satisfaction. If you tell someone about our service and they in return call us to set up service for themselves we will give you a $10.00 referral bonus.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes ! We offer 10% discount for senior citizens, disabled pet owners, and to owners of service dogs. We also give a 10% discount to pet owners who have adopted their pet from the Laporte or Porter County Animal Shelter.
